To Eat or Not to Eat?

That is the question. That is the question too many of us ask all too often.

Surely, if you are hungry you eat .. and if you’re not (hungry) you don’t, right?
Well not exactly.

Maybe you can’t eat when you’re hungry – you’re commuting or working or working out.
Maybe you’re too scared to eat when you are hungry – you might overeat, eat the ‘wrong’ things, look inelegant.

Maybe you just don’t know what to eat when you’re hungry: should it be gluten-free? how many carbs? for fibre? taste good or be good?  which fats? how much?                                     And so the flaying inner chat goes on – taking time, sapping energy, eroding your confidence, escalating your stress

Are you hungry? Yes?                                YES! Well, what does that tell you?  That your body needs food, maybe?

Well, maybe …
Maybe it needs rest or a break or water or to move or to have some fun or to get something done???  But maybe you actually do need food: as fuel, to replenish vital building blocks, to feed the nerves, cells, fibres of your body because you are made of molecules!
