Reserve ‘will power’ for real emergencies. Base everyday choices & actions around healthy ‘habits’. Create habits that make making the nourishing choice automatic. Eg: only have real food in the home, gather with people who value health over instant gratification (hedonistic indulgences) and, most importantly, realise that processed foods-sugar-flour products hijack the addicition centres of the brain, increasing insatiable cravings whilst making rational decisions impossible. Quit manufactured food-like concoctions, so that you never have to use ‘will power’ to resist drug-like substance again. Eating well is simply what you do without thought, question or effort because you have already chosen WHO YOU WILL BE. You have chosen to BE HEALTHY, WELL, BALANCED, and SANE around food – REAL FOOD.
